September 1997 – July 2001 Studied for a bachelor’s degree at the Department of Basic Teaching Enhancement of Nanjing University

September 2001 – July 2006 Studied at the School of Medicine of Tsinghua University and received a doctoral degree in science. His thesis for doctoral degree was listed the top 100 excellent doctoral dissertation in China in 2008.

In July 2006, he received an exceptional promotion as a professor at the China Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Biophysics, and began to launch the biological electron microscopy center and biological electron microscope and structural biology laboratory. He is also an expert on instrument at the biological electron microscope center of the Protein Science Research Platform.
