BSC holds academic forum for young scholars

A biomedicine forum for young academic scholars was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, June 12.
The forum was hosted by a branch of the Biophysical Society of China (BSC), which is conducting research into auditory and language processing, and organized by the Institute of Life Sciences at Southeast University.
Invited experts and young scholars attending the forum included the Academy of Military Medical Sciences’ Wu Haitao, Beijing University professors Zhang Chen and Zhang Yong, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Zoology professor Jiao Jianwei, Xiong Wei of Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong Univeristy's Yang Tao and Song Lei, and Wan Guoqiang, a professor at Nanjing University.
Members of the group gave speeches, shared recent findings and discussed current difficulties in the fields of neurobiology, auditory science and cell biology.
The forum has established a platform for young biomedicine scholars to exchange perspectives and foster further creativity, promoting the development of biomedicine education and research in Jiangsu.
