The 9th China Photobiology Academic Conference is set to be held in Yinchuan, Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region on July 11, according to the Biophysical Society of China (BSC). 

The conference is organized by the Photobiology Academic Committee of BSC, aiming to display the latest achievements of studies on photobiology in recent years.

The conference will have speeches from leading scientists from China and the United States.

Researches in fields such as optical physics, optical spectroscopy, photosensitization, bioluminescence, chronobiology, as well as environmental photobiology will be discussed during the gathering.

The conference will run until July 14.

The registration for the conference started on June 15.
