Zhang Mingjie is a professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in China. He is also the president of the Life Science Division of HKUST. He works on researches of signal transduction of nerve cells. In 2011, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Science(CAS).
