Notice about EMBO Workshop on membrane shaping and remodeling by proteins

Updated: 2018-12-13

The EMBO Workshop on membrane shaping and remodeling by proteins is scheduled to be held in Huangshan, East China's Anwei province, on April 11-14 next year.

The workshop will focus on areas of membrane biology, biophysics and cell biology, covering 11 topics including endocytosis and vesicular trafficking.

The event will be organized by the Membrane Biology Academic Subgroup under the Biophysical Society of China (BSC), the Institute of Biophysics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), with support from the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), an organization that promotes excellence in life sciences.

Some 30 speakers from across the world are set to deliver speeches at the meeting, including Pietro De Camilli, a professor from Yale University, Chen Quan from the Institute of Zoology of CAS, and Noboru Mizushima from the University of Tokyo.
