The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) recently issued a list approving 335 sci-tech workers for its training program, with two from the Biophysical Society of China (BSC) making the prestigious group.

Lan Pengfei and Liu Liang, doctors focusing on the research of structural biology will receive funding worth 150,000 yuan ($22,424.5) annually for three consecutive years.

The training program, initiated in October 2015 by CAST, aims to offer financial support to sci-tech workers under 32 in order to create a think tank for the development of science and technology across the country.

BSC, as a member of CAST has worked hard to select and train sci-tech workers. It also helps find or recommend job opportunities based on its close relationships with biophysical organizations such as the Institute of Biophysics (IBP) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a national leading institution for biological research.

According to the society, IBP is currently looking for young and established researchers.

More information about IBP's recruitment can be found at http://en.bsc.org.cn/2019-03/04/c_342186.htm
