The 17th Chinese Biophysics Congress is scheduled to be held in Tianjian from August 2-5.
The congress is the annual meeting of the Biophysical Society of China and is themed on biophysics and human health this year.
Xu Tao will serve as the chair of the organizing committee, Cheng Heping will serve as the chair of the conference's academic committee, and Zhang Hong will serve as general-secretary.
This year, the conference will include 18 academic panels focusing on topics such as structural and computational biology, the imaging of single molecules, cells, and circuits, systems and computation, bioinformatics, redox modulations, human health, radiation, environmental biophysics, and molecular and cellular biomechanics.
In addition to academic panels, the conference will also hold activities such as science lectures, forums for female scientists, industrial forums, and equipment exhibitions.
The conference is expected to attract 1,500 attendees.
The conference, which started in 1964, is aimed at stimulating scientific exchanges among global researchers and building up a learning and communication platform for students and young scientists. In recent years, it has been becoming more well-known around the world.
