Xu Wenqing

Xu Wenqing received his PhD in Biology from MIT in 1995 and did his postdoc work at Harvard Medical School. He became an assistant professor in 1999 and now works as a professor at the University of Washington.

Xu's main focus is the structural basis of signal transduction. His lab mainly carries out research on the structural analysis of the Wnt signaling pathway and its applications in stem cell and cancer biology. His lab also investigates molecular mechanisms of cell regulation by protein phosphorylation, polyubiquitination, and poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation (PARylation).
