Notice about 9th Asia and Oceania Conference on Photobiology

The 9th Asia and Oceania Conference on Photobiology -- AOCP2019 -- is scheduled to be held from Sept 21 to 24 at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort in Qingdao, China.

AOCP2019 is an international conference on photobiology and its related areas.

All major disciplines of photobiology-related sciences, including photosynthesis, plant photobiology, biophysics, biochemistry medicine, and technology will be covered at the conference. 

The event aims to discuss and communicate the latest advances on various aspects of photobiology research in Asia and Oceania by providing a unique forum for scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students around the world to deepen their knowledge on photobiology, explore future collaborations and professional contacts and build up friendships.

Abstract Submission

How to submit the abstract?

1. Abstract submissions can be done through online submission system.

2. Please sign up to request an account for access on the online system.

3. Abstracts can be sent to klpb@ibcas.ac.cn

Rules for Submission

Abstracts without registration and payment will NOT be included in the abstract book. Applicants must follow the following abstract guidelines:

Abstract requirements

Abstract Title (Times New Roman, 14 point, bold, centered) 

Author, Co-Author (Times New Roman, 12 pt, presenting author underlined)

Department1, Institution1, Address, City1, Country1 (Times New Roman, 10pt).

Department2, Institution2, Address, City2, Country2 (email only for the presenting author) 

Please prepare your abstract in English(less than 500 words, Times New Roman, 12 pt, single line spacing) 

References should be indicated as consecutive numbers placed in square brackets, e.g. [1] and [2,3], etc., and referenced as in the example below. Total references should be less than 10.

Example references:

[1] Brown AB, Harbort CD, Hermann DE (Year). Title. Journal name. Vol XX: page XX-XX. (Times New Roman 10 pt, single line spacing.)

Poster guidelines

Poster size is 0.9 meters wide and 1.2 m high.

Poster presentation will take place in the Poster Area of the exhibition area. Authors are requested to be in attendance at their poster for discussion.
