In the fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, scientific development and technological innovation are of great significance, according to experts.

Members of the Biophysical Society of China, also known as the BSC, participated in the research of medicine, vaccines and in virus testing during the epidemic.

Huang Yuanyu, an expert in biology and biomedicine engineering and secretary-general of the BSC’s nanobiology academic subgroup, led a team conducting research on novel coronavirus nucleic acid control technology -- making their contribution to the fight against the outbreak.

Their efforts received attention from media and the Guangming Daily reported on their efforts.
