Notice on applying for bilateral academic conferences & scientific and technological exchange projects
To promote bilateral non-governmental scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, and to consolidate and improve its global partner network, the China Association for Science and Technology has decided to open applications for bilateral academic conferences and scientific and technological exchange projects.
Each conference and project will focus on scientific and technological exchanges with a target country, including but not limited to the United States, Canada, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Brazil, and Chile.
The subjects are artificial intelligence, digital economy, digital transformation, 5G communications, computer technology, agricultural technology, new energy, science popularization and communication, technology policy, and the basic disciplines of mathematics, physics, chemistry, life science, astronomy and geology.
The exchanges can be in the form of academic seminars, technology docking, and results promotion either online or offline, or a combination of both. Each project will be funded from 100,000 (US $15,350) to 200,000 yuan (US $30,700) and must be finished before the end of November, 2021.
1.Applicants must have rich experience in bilateral scientific and technological exchanges, and work experience in foreign affairs or fulfillment of cooperation intentions. Only one project can be submitted by each applicant.
2. Applicants should fill out the application form, which can be downloaded from the following QR code.

3. The project tasks, expected goals, performance indicators, schedule, and budget should be specified in the application form.
4. The paper form should be mailed to the designated place in triplicate before March 15, 2021, and the electronic version (including the scanned version and the Word version) should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
