Director of the Department of Pathology, Army Military Medical University, Director of the Department of Pathology at the First Affiliated Hospital, and Director of the Institute of Clinical Pathology of the PLA. "Changjiang Scholar" Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund Project. "Key research field innovation team" and the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Innovative Research Group" academic leader. He is also the chairman of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Pathologist Branch, the vice chairman of the Chinese Cell Biology Society Stem Cell Biology Branch, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Pathology Branch. Engaged in pathology teaching, diagnosis and research for more than 30 years, and is good at neuropathological (tumor) diagnosis. The research direction is cancer stem cells and tumor microenvironment. Propose a new theory of "tumor microvascular architecture phenotype", clarify related mechanisms, and establish a diagnostic system based on tumor vascular pathology; discover the key role and mechanism of tumor stem cells in tumor angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis, and explore tumor immune microenvironment research New fields; take the lead in formulating a number of tumor pathological diagnosis norms and industry standards. As the corresponding author, he has published more than 130 SCI papers in Nature, Science, Cell Stem Cell, Nature Neuroscience and other journals. The research results won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (the first person to complete), the He Liang He Li Foundation "Science and Technology Progress Award" and the first National Innovation Competition Award, and he was named a national model teacher.
