The eighth annual conference of the Nanobiology Academic Subgroup of the Biophysical Society of China is scheduled to be held from May 13 to 17 in Dali, Yunnan province. It will aim at strengthening academic exchanges in China’s nanobiology research, promoting innovations and advancing studies in nanobiology and its interdisciplinary fields.

Renowned scientists in the fields of nanobiology, nanomedicine and innovative biomedicine from China and abroad will give special reports at the conference, which will provide a platform for academic exchanges between young scholars.

The conference will cover three topics as follows:

• Nano delivery and biological effects

• Molecular imaging and diagnosis

• Cutting-edge biotechnology and medical transformation

Reports and view exchanges will include but not be limited to such fields as nanobiology, nanomedicine, biological nanomaterials, nanobiological analysis, nanobiological effects, biotechnological pharmaceutics and new vaccine research.

Reports

Plenary reports: Reporters will be nominated and invited by the academic committee of the conference. The reporting time will be 40 minutes.

Invited reports: Reporters will be nominated and invited by the academic committee of the conference. The reporting time will be 20 minutes.

Oral reports: Reporters will be selected by the academic committee based on the report abstracts they have submitted. The reporting time will be 15 minutes.

Flash reports: Reporters will be selected by the academic committee from graduate students with high performance based on the report abstracts they have submitted, and the reporting time will be five minutes.

Poster presentation: The conference will set up an area for poster presentations, providing a platform for academic exchanges. An award for outstanding posters will be given.
