Nature to release three sub-journals in 2023

Nature Portfolio will roll out three sub-journals: Nature Mental Health, Nature Reviews Bioengineering and Nature Water in January 2023, according to the website of Nature China.

Nature Mental Health is a thematic journal covering a wide range of topics that explore mental health and related disorders. Rebecca Cooney will be appointed as its chief editor.

The launch of Nature Mental Health reflects the expansion of applied science-related journals in the Nature series to meet the needs of authors and researchers in clinical medicine, psychiatry, psychology and public health. The journal is committed to becoming a bond for multidisciplinary research on mental health and related diseases.

Nature Reviews Bioengineering is the first engineering-related journal in the Nature Review series. It is an online journal publishing reviews, perspectives and comments with emphasis on application, transformation and technology in bioengineering.

Nature Water has Fabio Pulizzi as its chief editor. The journal involves research on the evolving relationship between water and society, aiming to support scholars and practitioners in the field, as well as promoting interdisciplinary studies. Topics of the journal include basic research, technological innovation, management and behavioral studies regarding water resources.

The three journals have launched their websites and are open to paper submissions.
