Training session on VEM held at CAS biophysics and automation institutes

Updated: 2023-04-11

The 2022 CAS Electron Microscopy Association Technology Forum & Training Session on the Technological Development and the Application of Volume Electron Microscopy (VEM) was held at the Institute of Biophysics and the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from March 29 to 31.

Hosted by the Cryo-electron Microscopy Academic Subgroup of the Biophysical Society of China and the CAS Electron Microscopy Association, undertaken by the CAS Institute of Biophysics and supported by the CAS Institute of Automation, the three-day event was an extension of the online symposium on VEM's technological development and application held on Sep 9, 2022.

Earlier this year, VEM was picked by Nature magazine as one of the seven new technologies with significant impact.
