The event also witnessed the establishment of the popular science education base co-built by the two institutions.

The signing of the agreement marks a successful exploration of the synergies between sports medicine and biophysics, leading to mutual benefits, said He Ming, Party chief of the university.

The establishment of the popular science education base not only reflects the shared vision for cooperation in sci-tech popularization between the two parties, but also serves as a vital platform for nurturing talent in sports science, He added.

The strategic cooperation between the BSC and the CUPES will provide crucial support for the application and promotion of biophysics in sports medicine, said Zhang Hong, vice-president and secretary-general of the BSC.

Zhang also expressed his hope for continued collaboration in promoting sports knowledge, encouraging active participation in sports, enhancing physical fitness and upholding the spirit of sports.

He said he believes that the cooperation between the two sides will facilitate interdisciplinary integration, improve the scientific literacy of the younger generation, and contribute to the development of education and sports in China.
