Conference on molecular imaging held in Sanya

The National Molecular Imaging Academic Conference was held in Sanya, Hainan province, from April 11 to 14.

The event, themed "Molecular Imaging and Translational Medicine", aimed to address key scientific issues in molecular imaging research and applications and facilitate the advancement and utilization of the technology in clinical medical imaging and neuroscience studies.

The conference featured such topics as molecular imaging and precision medicine, medical imaging and medical informatics, nanomaterials and sensing detection, as well as brainsmatics.

It provided a platform for scientists to showcase their research progress and promoted exchanges from basic research to clinical translation and industrialization among industry insiders.

For the two parallel sessions, 36 renowned experts in the field were invited to share their latest research findings and cutting-edge technologies, attracting over 100 scholars, students and representatives of various enterprises to participate.

Distinguished speakers including Tian Jie of Beihang University, Gong Qiyong of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Lu Guangming of the General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command, Liang Ping of the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Wang Fan of Peking University, Zhao Shihua of Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Zhou Xin of the Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered reports.

The event was hosted by the Molecular Imaging Academic Subgroup of the Biophysical Society of China, and co-organized by the School of Biomedical Engineering at Hainan University, the university’s Sanya Research Institute, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology-Suzhou Institute for Brainsmatics and the Biomedical Engineering Society of Hainan Province.
