Aiming to provide a diverse academic exchange platform for representatives from various fields and age groups, the congress featured three thematic sessions: The Fifth Forum for BSC Scientific Journals, the 2024 Excellence Program for Middle School Students and the 2024 Belt and Road International Health Promotion Exchange Conference.
A notable highlight of this year’s congress was its focus on cloud-based popular science activities. A two-day online live broadcast was held which integrated life sciences with local Lanzhou cuisine and drew impressive viewing figures of more than 1.06 million.
The cloud-based activities also featured cutting-edge developments in life sciences, combining academic sessions with interactive events. These initiatives represented a proactive attempt by the Biophysical Society of China (BSC) to explore the integration of industry, academia and research and to build a collaborative platform for enterprises, research institutions and scientists.
