The Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics Forum 2025, the fourth edition of the annual forum, will be held from July 4 to 7 in Hengyang, Hunan province. Focusing on medical biochemistry and biophysics, the forum will invite graduate students and young scientists in life sciences to participate in academic exchanges and present their research findings.

VI. Outstanding oral presentation selection

Outstanding oral presentations will be selected and awarded with certificates and an honorarium (1,200 yuan per presentation). Unpublished results from these presentations are encouraged for submission to Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics and will be fast-tracked for review and prioritized for publication upon acceptance.

1. Abstract requirements

Content should be unpublished research or the author’s latest high-impact findings, and may be submitted in either Chinese or English. 

Submission deadline: June 15 

The abstract should include the following components in order: title, author(s), affiliation(s), postal code, email address, main text and a brief biography of the first author, and be limited to one A4 page.

Formatting requirements are as follows: the title should be in size 16 (Heiti); author name(s) in size 9 (Kaiti); affiliation(s), postal code, address and email in size 9 (Songti); main text in size 10.5 (Songti); and the biography of the first author in size 9 (Songti). 

The abstract should be formatted as a Word document and submitted online after registering on the conference website.
