Updated: 2025-09-30

The fourth Annual Conference for the Chinese Society of Metabolomics & Symposium on Metabolomics 2025 took place in Shenyang, Liaoning province, from Sept 26 to 28. The event was hosted by the Metabolomics Society of the Biophysical Society of China (BSC) and organized by Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.

As a premier annual academic gathering in China’s metabolomics field, the conference attracted over 500 participants, including domestic and international experts, scholars, industry representatives and graduate students. It provided an important platform for promoting the development and exchange of metabolomics research in China.

The program featured pre-conference training, invited lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions, covering key areas including theoretical innovation, technological breakthroughs and translational applications. A main plenary session, eight specialized sessions and a Young Scientists Forum were set up.

A total of 69 experts from top institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nanyang Technological University and Hong Kong Baptist University delivered six plenary lectures and 63 parallel session presentations. Additionally, 48 poster presentations were showcased, highlighting the field’s dynamic growth.
