Professor Jiang Changtao awarded 2025 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award

On February 3, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation announced the recipients of its 2025 Science and Technology Awards. Professor Jiang Changtao, vice president of the Biophysical Society of China and a faculty member at Peking University Health Science Center, was honored with the "Science and Technology Innovation Award (Youth Innovation Award)" for his outstanding achievements in scientific research and technological innovation.
The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was established on March 30, 1994, by Hong Kong financiers and industrialists Ho Sin Hang, Leung Kau Kui, Ho Tim, and Lee Quo Wei. The foundation aims to reward distinguished scientific and technological workers in the People's Republic of China. Adhering to the principles of "fairness, impartiality, and openness," the foundation conducts a rigorous selection process, including nomination, professional review, investigation, hearings, and final evaluation by the selection committee.
For the 2025 awards, 32 outstanding scientific and technological workers who have made significant inventions, discoveries, and technological achievements were awarded the "Science and Technology Progress Award," each receiving a certificate and a cash prize of 200,000 Hong Kong dollars($25,589). Additionally, 22 individuals with high-level scientific achievements, who have generated significant economic and social benefits through technological and managerial innovation, were honored with the "Science and Technology Innovation Award," also receiving a certificate and a cash prize of 200,000 Hong Kong dollars.
