From June 12 to 14, the "2026 Advanced Symposium on Nanobiomaterials and Biological Effects" was held in Dalian, hosted by the Nanobiology Division of the Biophysical Society of China and organized by Dalian Minzu University. Experts and scholars from across China gathered to discuss advancements in nanobiomaterials and their biological effects.

During the symposium, the Nanobiology Division organized a visit to the Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum, a national patriotism education base. This museum preserves the painful history of the nation with artifacts, documentary footage, and historical documents vividly depicting China's past struggles. Participants engaged deeply with the exhibits, reflecting on the nation's trials and the resilience of their forebears, gaining a profound sense of national pride and responsibility.

The visit inspired attendees, reminding them of the hard-won peace and prosperity enjoyed today. They expressed a renewed commitment to their roles as researchers, determined to transform the patriotic energy gained into scientific motivation. By focusing on the nanobiology field and tackling technological challenges, they aim to contribute significantly to China's biotechnology industry.
