Six distinguished experts, including Academician Zhang Hong from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and professors from prestigious institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University, visited seven middle and elementary schools in Wuzhong and Zhongwei. Through a blend of online and offline lectures, they reached nearly 4,000 students and teachers with 11 sessions.

At Wuzhong Middle School, Academician Zhang Hong delivered a lecture titled "Autophagy: The Cell's Housekeeper," translating complex scientific concepts into accessible knowledge. Professor Li Dan's talk, "Understanding Life, Caring for Brain Health," combined scientific insights with humanistic values, encouraging students to respect life and embrace science.

In Zhongning county, Researcher Wang Xiangxi focused on "Virus Structure and Vaccine Design," addressing public health needs and sparking student interest in biomedicine. Professor Lin Yi used a "ball of yarn" metaphor to unravel "The Secret of Protein Folding," captivating students with the wonders of molecular biology.

In Haiyuan county, Professor Ruan Ke used the film "Dying to Survive" to discuss modern drug development and scientific integrity, inspiring students to pursue careers in medical research. Professor Li Tingting's lecture on "AI and Biomedical Integration" highlighted cutting-edge technologies, from Turing machines to AI models.

Each session featured interactive Q&A segments, where students eagerly engaged with experts, exploring scientific frontiers and research pathways. The scientists not only imparted knowledge but also shared their dedication and insights, subtly instilling the spirit of scientific inquiry in young minds.

The "Spring Rain Program," initiated in 2022, aims to enhance science education in underdeveloped regions, having previously reached areas like Tibet and Sichuan. This Ningxia initiative further exemplifies the program's commitment to sustainable science education, fostering a model of "expert immersion, regional support, and continuous service."

The Biophysical Society of China plans to continue this impactful work, encouraging more scientists to engage with youth and nurture future innovators.
