4. Cooperated with others to conduct science promotions activities

(1). In October 2019, the BSC organized for over 30 PhD students in the CAS Institute of Biophysics -- and cooperated with Wulutong Primary School in the Xicheng District of Beijing -- to carry out a one-month science promotion activity.

(2). After the announcement of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 2019, Chen Chang, president of BSC's Female Scientists Committee, gave a report with the theme "sensing oxygen, sensing life". More than 300 scientific researchers and graduate students listened to the presentation.

(3). The BSC's Clinical Molecular Diagnosis Academic Subgroup organized experts to go to grass-roots organizations or institutes, to provide free clinics for residents in many places.

(4). The BSC's Clinically Rare Metabolic Disease Academic Subgroup went to Guizhou, Suzhou, Yixing and other places to carry out science promotion and social services activities.

(5). As a guest, Gao Nan, a member of the BSC's Nano-enzyme Academic Subgroup, participated in an academic salon called the "Popularization of Science in the New Media Era" co-organized by the CAS Institute of Physics and the youth promotions group of the CAS Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry.

(6). Members of the BSC's Optical Biophysics Academic Committee organized a series of practical courses for science promotion and scientific research experience for primary and secondary schools.
