Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists

About the award

The Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists was set up in 2009 along with the Shizhang Bei Award to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Biophysical Society of China (BSC). The award is given to 1-3 BSC members under the age of 35 every two years with an aim of encouraging young BSC members to challenge new heights in science and become leaders who challenge world scientific and technological frontiers.

  • Wei Chaoliang

    Wei Chaoliang is the winner of the first Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2009. He is an associate researcher of Peking University.

  • Wu Yi

    Wu Yi is the winner of the first Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2009. He is a professor from Lanzhou University.

  • Sun Fei

    Sun Fei is the winner of the first Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2009. He is a professor at the CAS's Institute of Biophysics.

  • Yan Ning

    Yan Ning is the winner of the second Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2011. She is a professor at Tsinghua University.

  • Zhang Lingqiang

    Zhang Lingqiang is the winner of the second Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2011.

  • Xu Yanhui

    Xu Yanhui is the winner of the second Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2011. He is a professor at Fudan University.

  • Ma Cong

    Ma Cong is the winner of the third Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2013. He is a professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

  • Liu Guanghui

    Liu Guanghui is the winner of the third Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2013. He is a researcher at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

  • Li Chuanyun

    Li Chuanyun is the winner of the third Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2013. He is an associate researcher at Peking University.

  • Wang Xiangxi

    Wang Xiangxi is the winner of the fourth Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists in 2015. He is a researcher at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

  • Shi Fazhan

    Shi Fazhan, a researcher at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), is one of the winners of the Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists 2017.

  • Zong Weijian

    Zong Weijian, a doctor at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, is one of the winners of the Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists 2017.
